April 2012 Topbox

Topbox took Earth Day into consideration this month and to celebrate, the packaging is made from 100% recycled materials. Also, 5 cents from each top box will be donated to the David Suzuki Foundation. Right on!

In my box this month, I received 4 products.

Benefit The POREfessional – I have heard good and bad things about this product and have always been wanting to try it out, but haven’t had the chance. Now’s my chance!

Principessa Beauty Notte/Blanco Breeze Dry Shampoo for darker shades – This came wrapped up in purple tissue paper; I assume it was so that the powder wouldn’t get all over the place. It looks like cocoa powder lol. It is named as a dry shampoo product, but it is a multi-use powder that you can also use on your body. Can’t wait to try this!

Misa Nail Lacquer in Satin Slippers – Haven’t yet heard of this brand, but you can’t go wrong with more nail polish. It’s a nice pearly pink shade, but I will probably give this away as I have too many pinks in my collection!

Bella Pella Tropical Flowers Body Lotion – This has a light, floral scent to it. Great size to carry around in my purse. Though I do have tons of other lotions that I need to use up first…

Also included was a very small sample size of Cargo’s Blu Ray Pressed Powder – I regularly use pressed powder so I will definitely give this a try

I was pleasantly surprised by all the products in this month’s box. I am mostly excited to try out the dry shampoo to see if it really works.

What I like about Topbox is that they include where you can purchase the products on the description card in case you decide to purchase the full size product.
